The mission of 10,000 Degrees is to achieve educational equity and to support students from low income backgrounds to and through college to realize their full potential and positively impact their communities and the world.

Avenues for Justice, Inc.

As one of the first Alternative to Incarceration (ATI) programs for youth in the country, for over 40 years,

Avenues for Justice (AFJ) has successfully continued its mission to keep kids out of prison by replacing cells with services. AFJ:

1. Intervenes to divert and reclaim young people from lives of crime.

2. Provides an overloaded court system with a reliable alternative to incarceration.

3. Makes New York City a safer place for everyone.

Action for Boston Community Development, Inc.

The mission of Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) is to empower low-income people by providing them with the tools to overcome poverty, live with dignity, and achieve their full potential. To fulfill this mission, ABCD uses a comprehensive approach that systemically addresses the range of barriers faced by households in poverty—from day-to-day crises to long-term need for jobs and education.

Baton Rouge Youth Coalition

The Baton Rouge Youth Coalition (BRYC) helps youth enter, persist in, and graduate from college and earn career-track jobs. We provide our students with the best resources and services money can buy — for free — so they can maximize the economic value of their degrees, build the lives they want, and help future generations do the same.

Bottom Line

Bottom Line partners with degree-aspiring students of color from under-resourced communities to get into and through college and successfully launch a career.

Center for Black Educator Development

The Center for Black Educator Development’s mission is to rebuild the Black Teacher Pipeline to achieve educational equity and racial justice.

Drive Change, Inc.

The mission of Drive Change is to support formerly incarcerated young people, and create quality employment pathways to ensure their economic and emotional wellbeing. We work to create systemic change and sustainable impact through unapologetically reimagining what’s possible for the food and hospitality industry.

ELSO, Inc.

The mission of ELSO is to teach and frame STEAM and nature-based education through a lens that centers and elevates the stories, ways of knowing individual needs, and lived experiences of Black and Brown communities.

Kenwood Oakland Community Organization

Through the sustained engagement of low-income and working families, the Kenwood Oakland Community Organization (KOCO) develops multi-generational leaders who impact decision-making processes and public policies, improving the quality of life in our local communities.

Mosaic Youth Theater of Detroit

Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit is a national leader in creative youth development, empowering young people to maximize their potential through professional performing arts training and the creation of theatrical and musical art that engages, transforms, and inspires.

PeerForward

PeerForward maximizes the power of positive peer influence to transform the lives of students in low-income communities by connecting them to college and career.

STEM NOLA

STEM NOLA is a national leader in the design and delivery of STEM-based activities, programs and events to K-12 students, families and communities to grow, engage, expose and inspire future Innovators, Creators, Makers and Entrepreneurs. Our unique interactive, hands-on learning experience allows learners of all ages to deepen their knowledge in STEM studies, gain confidence in their abilities and chart a course for career opportunities in STEM fields.
